Three Hope Valley College students have won prizes in an art competition. Rebekah Heath, Jude Wedgwood and Scarlett Cameron impressed the judges in the contest run by Never Such Innocence, a charity set up to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. The organisation was founded by
Lady Lucy French, whose great-grandfather, Field Marshal Sir John French, commanded British troops in 1914.
